What Is Microsoft Power Platform?
What is Microsoft Power Platform used for?
Microsoft Power Platform consists of four main components—Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, formerly known as Microsoft Flow, and Power Virtual Agents.
Power BI is a tool that helps you make sense of unrelated and complex data. The data may be an Excel spreadsheet or your online and on-premises data sources such as Dynamics 365, SQL Server, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams.
Power Apps is Microsoft’s tool for rapidly developing business apps. You can connect them to a variety of data sources such as an underlying data platform or your on-premises and online applications from the Microsoft 365 suite.
Power Automate is a service by Microsoft that makes it possible for businesses to automate workflows and expedite repetitive routines.
Power Virtual Agents is a tool that lets you create chatbots within Microsoft Teams. The tool provides you with an interface where you choose between built-in content templates, trigger phrases, and pre-authored bot conversations to create powerful chatbots.
