Sitecore Horizon

Sitecore Horizon is a new page editor that will most likely replace Experience Editor.

To put it simply, Horizon is the “new” Experience Editor and represents a combination of the Content Editor and Experience Editor. It appears in Sitecore Experience Platform 9.3 and gives content editors a workplace with the Content Tree Pane and Page View Section, enabling them to edit both the visible parts of a page and its internal properties in one place. Horizon’s Simulator feature lets administrators see what the page looks like on various mobile devices. Some of its other valuable features include a timeline of changes, auto-saving, and page analytics.

Sitecore Horizon comes with three intuitive content-editing and marketing features:

• The page editor enables editors to add page blocks and edit their content.
• Simulator mode is a feature that displays the page as it will appear on a website and on mobile apps and other front ends.
• The insights view is used to obtain analytics for a website’s pages.
